In this tutorial, we clean the data to be read computationally.
Goals:
- Recognize common data structure errors
- Identify variables vs data in spreadsheets designed for human eyes
- Pivot data in Tableau to create long and skinny data
We cleaned two datasets, Meal Plan and Population Division’s World Population Prospects by hand and using Tableau. Then we visualized the cleaned data.
